1. OLDOINYO GOL & EASTERN PLAINS
Best in wet season. Endless plains, animals and skies.
2. NDUTU WOODLANDS
Acacia woodlands with all the attending resident animals. An all year round route.
3. MT. LEMAGRUT
Open grasslands broken by forested gorges. Immense views of The Serengeti Plains, The Crater Highlands and Lake Eyasi.
4. MT. OLDEANI
The well grassed northern slopes lead to woodlands extending down the western slopes to Lake Eyasi. Also features a forested crater.
5. EYASI ESCARPMENT
Ancient baobabs overhang breathtaking escarpment views from the rocky track.
6. EYASI BASIN
Tanzania's largest soda lake is surrounded by both palm trees and acacia woodlands. Home to such diverse cultures as Hadzabe forages and the Datoga pastoralists.
7. LAKE NATRON
Flamingos breeding in the harsh soda lake conditions. Encircled by the Great Rift walls broken by the beautiful gorge of the Engaresero River.

8. OLKARIEN GORGE
Breeding vultures all along this spectacular, narrow gorge to the plains beyond.
9. OLDOINYO LENGAI
A still active volcano which offers up incomparable views to the more adventurous climbers.
10. EMPAKAAI CRATER
Remote, forested Crater with a pristine lake at the end of hike down from the eastern rim. Lucky hikers sometimes rewarded with huge concentrations of flamingos covering the lake.
11. OLMOTI CRATER
A hike across rolling slopes to the grassy crater, home to the tumbling waterfall of the Munge River.
12. MT LOLMALASIN
Highest peak in The Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The third highest in Tanzania. Endless views from the top, reached by hiking through open grass and bushland.
13. RIFT WALL
Steep and exciting trail from the lush oasis of Selela, up the cliffs to the village of Upper Kitete.
14. FOREST WALKS
Beautiful forest walks, rich in bird and animal life.

Nasera/Oldupai/Olkarian Area
Many choices in these areas range from35kms to 5kms and 15to4.5 hours.

WESTERN ZONE
Olpiro/Eyasi Area
Escarpment hikes overlooking Lake Eyasi range from18kms to 6kms and from 8 to 6 hours.

SOUTHERN ZONE
Sopa Area
Woodland walks from 17kms to 4kms and from 8 to 2 hours.

NORTHERN ZONE
Empakaai Rim area
Various hikes around the rim and into the crater from 17kms to 7kms and about 8 to 3 hours.

CENTRAL ZONE
Serena area
Six or so different hikes range from 11.5 kms to 4,5 kms and 6.5 hours to 3,5.

WESTERN ZONE
Ndutu area
Different short hikes around the lake and a longer one to Naibartat which is 15kms and about 6hours.

SOUTHERN ZONE
Gibbs Farm/Selela Area
Several rural and forest walks range from 9 kms to 7kms and 4 to 6 hours.

NORTHERN ZONE
Nainokanoka/Empakaai Area
Interesting highland walks from 17kms to 1km, about1 to 5 hours
